Masters in Choral Conducting

Intentionally small, the graduate program in choral conducting focuses on practical application and experience to train growing conductors to their highest potential.  Conductors accepted into the program will get extensive opportunities to rehearse and conduct university ensembles.  Graduate students will have the opportunity to conduct all four of the university curricular ensembles, including time with large chorus and hired orchestra in the preparation and conducting of major works.

Graduates have gone on to a range of activities, including public school positions, community and church choir positions, international conducting and doctoral studies at major universities.

Graduate assistantships include partial tuition remission and an annual stipend.  Current teachers in Kentucky and the surrounding states may be eligible for a reduced price structure for course credits.  See information about this educator discount
