SGA Elections

The Student Government Association of Western Kentucky University holds elections every year in the fall and spring semesters for membership in the organization. All eligible students are encouraged to apply and run for an office for a chance to represent the student body. Everyone can find a place where they belong in SGA!

Important Information and Dates:

Application due date: September 10th, 2025 @ 9:00 PM

Mandatory Orientation Meetings: September 8th and 10th @ 7:00 PM in 2081 (SGA Chambers) * (You must attend one of these meetings in order to start campaigning)

Campaigning Period: Upon Submission of Application - September 19th, 2025

Election Dates: September 17th at 4:00pm - September 19th at 4:00pm, 2025 via Topnet

These election codes provide an overview of the rules and general procedures one must follow if they choose to run for an elected position. The application also includes the positions available this term. If you have any questions, you may contact Chief Justice Blake Graham.
