Student Spotlight: Abigail Abrams

Abigail Abrams graduated from WKU in the spring of 2025. She majored in Architectural Science and Visual Studies, combining technical expertise with an artistic approach to shape the way we live.  As a FUSE recipient, she focused her research on finding new methods in which sustainability blends with architecture. Her project particularly focused on lighting design in hopes to bring light to better materials, technology, and construction practices for the environment. With the FUSE grant, she got the opportunity to travel to Berlin to participate in the International Conference on Sustainable Architecture and Urban Design (ICSAUD). By the end of her journey she was ready to present at our annual Student Scholar Showcase.
