Fall Deadline

Students will need to apply by the first Friday in the preceding April to participate in the December ceremony.

Spring Deadline

Students will need to apply by the first Friday in the preceding November to participate in the May ceremony.

The next step? Submitting your Application for Graduation on TopNet! This is an essential part of the process that officially notifies the University of your expected graduation term. It also makes sure you receive important updates about Commencement, including details on the ceremony, cap and gown ordering, and diploma processing.

Here's why it's so important to apply:

Submitting your application officially notifies your Degree Certification Officers of your upcoming graduation. This prompts a review of your degree progress and allows time to address any outstanding requirements before the ceremony.

Once you're cleared for graduation, you’ll receive important updates about Grad Fair, the ceremony, cap and gown information, and other graduation details.

In addition, your application ensures that your name is included in the official commencement program.

The University will have the info it needs to process and mail your diploma once all requirements are met.

The online application allows you to pay your graduation fee quickly and securely. This fee covers your cap, gown, degree processing, and diploma mailing.
