Semester-Based Online Courses

A structured online learning experience accessible at your fingertips.

Our Semester-Based Online Courses offer the structure of traditional on-campus classes with the flexibility of online learning. Listed in Topnet with a Campus Location of WEB, these courses follow WKU’s academic calendar but vary in length.

  • Full Term (15-week courses): These courses align with the standard semester schedule you expect with specific start and end dates for Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer sessions.
  • Bi-Term (7-week courses): Some programs offer accelerated courses allowing you to complete two courses in the timeframe typically filled by one semester-long course. This option provides a more intensive focus on fewer subjects at one time.

Note:Most online courses do not require face-to-face meetings, but there are some exceptions. Check the blue notes under the Class section on Topnet for any in-person requirements.
