  • Volunteers are needed before race day and on race day (October 25), for roles like setting up aid stations, checking in runners, handing out water, helping with finish-line operations, and more.
  • Duties vary in time commitment and physical demand, but the organizers provide guidance and support.

Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Volunteer Program

The SCN volunteer program offers transformative immersion opportunities that engage volunteers in meaningful service both domestically and abroad. We operate several immersion programs that take participants to various locations, including Belize, India, and Nepal, where they work to build homes and uplift communities. We also have stateside missions across Appalachia, New Orleans, Mississippi, and Ohio, focusing on home repairs and rebuilding efforts.

In addition to our immersion programs, we run a disaster relief initiative that mobilizes volunteers to respond to urgent needs in affected areas. Most recently, our team traveled to Mayfield, Kentucky, to assist communities impacted by the devastating tornadoes.
