"The College of Health and Human Services at WKU opens doors for students to grow, serve, and lead. I’ve been able to connect my passions in public health and biology with hands-on experiences, supportive faculty mentorship, and opportunities that prepare me to make a real impact. Our college isn’t just about earning credits towards a degree, but rather about building and tuning foundation skills necessary to serve communities and create meaningful change."

The College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) has implemented a College Fee, starting in Fall 2025, that will replace all existing course fees. The CHHS Fee of $20 per credit hour will be assessed for all courses (except Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Dual Credit). The CHHS Fee will specifically cover the annual cost of 1) part-time faculty, 2) our Student Wellness Experience (including our Student Wellness Navigators), 3) existing course fees, and 4) other needs that directly benefit student success.

CHHS has created an advisory committee comprised of faculty/staff and students who will 1) review funding requests and 2) provide funding recommendations to the Dean’s Office to ensure that the CHHS Fee funds are being spent to support student success.
