Audition Requirements

Trumpet, Trombone & Sax Audition Requirements:

· Play a CHROMATIC Scale from your lowest to highest note possible

· Play a CONCERT B-flat BLUES SCALE

· Excerpt from jazz etude, “Two Plus Two” By Jim Snidero (Intro & m. 1 – m. 17 in Red Brackets)

· Optional Jazz Improvisation:

Bass Trombone Audition Requirements:

· Play a CHROMATIC Scale from your lowest to highest note possible
