WKU Annual Evaluation of Faculty
This information hub helps faculty, chairs/directors, and deans navigate the Annual Evaluation process at WKU. Faculty submit their Annual Activity Packet (AAP) and updated CV through WKU’s Workflow Portal (which replaces WKU’s E-signature system). AAPs should be organized/submitted following college and department/school guidelines and deadlines. Chairs will use college Annual Evaluation Forms to complete the evaluations. College/department/school forms, criteria, and other information are linked in the left navigation of this webpage.
Special Note for Untenured, Tenure-Eligible Faculty: You will submit your Annual Activity and Continuance Packet (a single packet for both processes that follows departmental/college guidelines) through BOTH the Continuance Workflow (by the WKU deadline--August 20th) and the Annual Evaluation Workflow (by your department's deadline, if after August 20).

Top Two Submission Errors:
-
Faculty attempt to upload packets that are larger than 40 MB. In Adobe Pro and the online version of Adobe, the Optimize function allows you to shrink files. There are also a number of free compression services on the web; ITS has recommended https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/online/compress-pdf.html as a relatively easy and reliable service.
-
Faculty neglect to save Annual Activity Packets and updated CVs on their computers with the appropriate naming conventions before beginning the workflow (Lastname-Firstname-AAP-2024-25.pdf).
