Hailing from Paducah, Kentucky, violinist Asher Griffith is currently attending Western Kentucky University studying violin and entrepreneurship. An active part of the WKU string academy, Asher teaches a wide range of students as well as accompanying classes on piano. He serves as the treasurer of the WKU chapter of the American String Teachers Association.

Asher began his musical journey as a pianist and later began focusing on violin after picking up the instrument in fifth grade in his local elementary school program. He has performed with the Paducah Symphony Orchestra, the WKU Symphony, and Murray State Chamber Orchestra, and various chamber ensembles. In his free time, Asher enjoys composing, recording solo and chamber music, and spending time outdoors.
