This program is designed to meet the educational requirements for professional licensure or certification in this state/territory.
This 30-hour Master of Accountancy program helps prepare students to meet the 150-credit-hour education threshold commonly required to sit for the Uniform CPA Exam. Completing this program alone does not guarantee eligibility for licensure as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) any state or territory.
To become a licensed CPA, most jurisdictions require you to:
Complete 150 semester hours of postsecondary education
Pass the Uniform CPA Examination (administered by the AICPA)
Meet state-specific requirements, which may include an additional ethics or state law exam, 1–2 years of supervised professional experience, and/or background checks or other documentation.
Apply through the appropriate state or territorial Board of Accountancy.
Based on our latest research, this program is designed to meet the educational requirements for professional licensure/certification in the state of Marshall Islands. Graduates of this program are eligible to apply for licensure/certification in Marshall Islands, provided all other state-specific requirements (e.g., examinations, background checks, experience) are met.
