Plan Your Visit
The KY Museum will be CLOSED March 16-21 for WKU's Spring Break.
The Museum follows the WKU calendar and is open to the public Wednesday through Saturday 9AM-4PM*.
Individual visitors are welcome for self-guided visits on Wednesday through Saturday. ALL GROUPS must complete online reservation requests forms.

The Kentucky Museum presents their annual juried art exhibit, which is truly a celebration of this region’s art. Generously sponsored by Abound Credit Union, 155 artists have entered this year's show. Learn more here.

Specialist, Exhibits Development
The Exhibits Development Specialist serves as a key member of the museum team, responsible for securing financial support and curatorial partnerships that enable the creation, enhancement, and sustainability of museum exhibits and related programming. Learn more and apply online here.

The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, provides travel reimbursement funds to Kentucky schools for field trips to the Kentucky Museum with state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.

The 2025-26 academic year will bring a melody of America250 programming to the Museum - from our first-ever Music Fest to guest speakers, film screenings, and more.
