The Office of Institutional Equity (OIE)
The Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) is responsible for ensuring WKU’s compliance with Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, ADA, and other state and federal anti discrimination/harassment laws. Institutional Equity is part of Academic Affairs and houses Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action/University ADA Services (EEO) and Title IX.

Mission:
The Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) is committed to preventing and addressing unlawful discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in WKU’s workplace and education environment (e.g., programs, activities). Institutional Equity envisions a University community in which every individual has an equal opportunity to learn, work, and contribute, and where full inclusion and respect for all people fosters an environment free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
