Scholarly Interest

My scholarly interests lie in the integration of sustainable engineering practices, computational
intelligence, and materials science to address contemporary challenges in industry and the
environment. With an academic foundation rooted in optimization algorithms and engineering
systems, my research is broadly situated at the confluence of green materials, machine
learning, and logistics optimization.
One core thread of my work investigates the corrosion behavior and surface properties of
aluminum alloys under environmentally sustainable conditions, including the use of green
inhibitors such as Syzygium samarangense and Dalbergia sissoo leaf extracts. This line of
research reflects my commitment to developing eco-friendly materials for industrial
applications, with implications for both environmental protection and materials durability.
In parallel, I have developed and refined a series of metaheuristic algorithms—notably
enhanced particle swarm optimization (PSO) methods—for solving complex combinatorial
optimization problems such as the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) and the
Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP). My work in this domain not only improves computational
efficiency but also contributes novel solution representations and hybrid strategies that
enhance real-world logistics and supply chain management.
Additionally, I am exploring how variation theory and phenomenography can be effectively
employed in STEM education, aiming to bridge advanced engineering concepts with
pedagogical innovations. This reflects a broader academic interest in engineering education
reform, especially through data-driven and student-centered instructional design.
Going forward, I seek to expand interdisciplinary collaborations that fuse green chemistry,
computational optimization, and AI-enhanced design frameworks to promote both
technological innovation and sustainability in engineering systems.
