WKU departments recognized at 2025 AMA Bowling Green Markie Awards

WKU Communications and Marketing and WKU Imagewest were recognized during the 2025 AMA Bowling Green Markie Awards for outstanding work in the field of marketing.
The winners were named at the 25th Annual Markie Awards at The Mint Gaming Hall on Tuesday (Nov. 18).
The Markie Awards were created by the Bowling Green chapter of the American Marketing Association to recognize work produced by marketing professionals in the Bowling Green area. Awards were judged by out-of-town marketing professionals and evaluated based on creativity and effectiveness derived from the project’s marketing objective, target audience and results.
WKU Communications & Marketing won awards in the following categories:
Gold Award – Social Media – Self-Managed – Fall 2024 Pre-Game Concert
Gold Award – Photography – Single Image - Eclipse Photo
Silver Award – Photography – Series or Body of Work – Flo Rida Concert Series
Silver Award – Marketing on a Shoestring – Advice to Your Younger Self
Bronze Award – Marketing on a Shoestring – Q&A with the WKU Class of 2028
Bronze Award – Promotional Item(s) – 2024 President’s Challenge Coin
WKU Imagewest won awards in the following categories:
Silver Award – Print or Direct Marketing – Dido and Aeneas Poster
Bronze Award – Marketing for Good – KEA Difference Maker Campaign
Bronze Award – Integrated Marketing Campaign – KEA Difference Maker Campaign
