WKU to celebrate Parent & Family Weekend Sept.19-21

WKU will celebrate Parent & Family Weekend September 19-21 with numerous events, highlighted by recognition of the 2025 Family of the Year during WKU Football’s game against Nevada.
WKU students are encouraged to nominate their family for 2025 Family of the Year. Nominations are due September 7. Nomination information
The Parent & Family Weekend schedule includes:
Friday, September 19: WKU Volleyball’s Alyssa Cavanaugh Classic (WKU vs. Bradley at 12:30 p.m. and WKU vs. Indiana at 7 p.m.), and Campus Ghost Tours with WKU Alumni at 7 p.m.
· Saturday, September 20: Alumni Scavenger Hunt at 11 a.m.,Sip and Snap pre-tailgate drinks and snacks with WKU Alumni at 11 a.m., WKU Volleyball vs. Austin Peay at 1:30 p.m., Parent & Family Tailgate at 2:00 p.m., and WKU Football vs. Nevada at 6 p.m.
Tailgating meal tickets and t-shirts can be purchased through the WKU Parent & Family Portal.
