Fall 2025 Parking and Transit

Here are some reminders from Parking & Transportation Services.
With the start of the semester, we resume our normal operations.
· Housing parking regulations resume on Sunday, August 17th at 4:30 PM. Vehicles must display the correct housing permit for the zone/lot they are parked in.
· Faculty/Staff and Commuter permit zones will be enforced for the correct permit beginning Monday, August 18th at 7:30AM.
Transit:
· Route 1 South Campus, Route 2 Kentucky Street Route, and Route 3 Campus Circulator provides transit service throughout campus.
· The Kentucky Street route has a new bus stop at the intersection of Center Street and Alumni Ave (in front of Center Hall).
· Topper Taxi On-Demand Service provides service on both Main Campus and South Campus after transit buses stop running. Use the Translōc app and your WKU NetID to log in and request service.
o 4:30pm – 9:00pm on Sundays
o 6:00pm – 9:00pm Monday – Friday
· Paratransit service is available Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm. Contact PTS at 270-745-2361 to register.
· Full transit services begin Monday, August 18th at 7:15AM.
Changes:
· As a reminder, Faculty / Staff Premium permits (FS1, FS2, FS4 and FS5) were not issued hangtags. License Plate Recognition (LPR) has been implemented to monitor zones. Please ensure that you have paid for parking access and your vehicle is registered on your Parking Account.
· If you back into a space or need garage gate access, you will need to get a “digitag” sticker from PTS for your front windshield.
· Public parking spaces have been added to the HUB lot. Use the ParkMobile app to pay for parking.
· Mimosa Lot is still a premium lot but is now zoned FS4.
· Chestnut Street North Lot now includes premium faculty/staff parking and is zoned FS5.
· Faculty/Staff permits will no longer be honored is Commuter Premium Zones. This includes commuter zones C1 (PS2) and C2 (Chestnut Street North).
· College Hill Lot is now a Non-Premium Faculty/Staff FS3 zone.
· Chestnut Street South Lot has added FS3 spaces, and the housing portion of the lot has converted to a new Commuter zone (CS).
