Pink Floyd's 'The Dark Side of the Moon:' 50 Years in a Heartbeat returns to Hardin Planetarium

- Wednesday, July 30th, 2025

Hardin Planetarium is hosting the planetarium show, "Pink Floyd's 'The Dark Side of the Moon:' 50 Years in a Heartbeat" every Friday night at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. central time, until mid-July 2026. The show requires tickets, available on the planetarium’s website at www.wku.edu/planetarium, and is also offered at the same times on many Saturdays.
"This is the same show we offered in 2023, which sold out nearly every showing. Experiencing this album with other fans, in a planetarium with full-dome simulations that convey themes of the album can be a real eye-opener," Planetarium Specialist Chris Chandler explained.
The show is offered as a fundraiser in conjunction with the 60th Anniversary of WKU Ogden College of Science and Engineering and in preparation for the planetarium's 60th anniversary in 2027.
