Register for Laying the Foundation for Inclusivity in the Early Childhood Learning Space

Audience: All Staff, Family Child Care, Registered Providers, Child Care Centers
The cost of this training is $15.00.

Join us for a 3 hour in-person, live Zoom Laying the Foundation for Inclusivity in the Early Childhood Learning Space training.

With a goal of supporting centers as they create inclusive learning environments, this training session focuses on the foundational  knowledge to begin or evaluate how to create a more diverse and inclusive learning environment for all staff, children, and families. In this training tailored towards directors, we will discuss inclusivity in their program for children and families with special and exceptional needs. We will discuss programming and curriculum through the lens of inclusion. We will also discuss a Whole Classroom Approach to inclusion, along with family and community partnerships.

Training Outcomes:

Participants will be able to: define inclusion, evaluate your program for inclusive practices, learn about inclusive practices and how they benefit early childhood education programs, and how to implement concepts learned into programs and classrooms

Core Content: Program Management and Evaluation and Learning Environment and Curriculum
CDA Subject Area: Positive ways to support children’s social and emotional development and Strategies to manage an effective program operation

Directions: The training link will be emailed at least 24 hours before the start of the event. Please make sure that you log into the training website and can access the Zoom link PRIOR to the training. There are not staff available to troubleshoot after 3:00pm.
