The annual 100 Miles of Hope Blood Drive against MTSU returns Monday, October 20, through Wednesday, October 22., ahead of WKU Football's game vs. Middle Tennessee on November 15, 2025.
Campus and community members are encouraged to schedule appointments to donate in favor of WKU at the Preston Health and Activities Center, located at 1906 College Heights Blvd., Bowling Green, KY, 42101. Walk-in appointments are welcome, but scheduled appointments are encouraged. Appointments are available from 12 a.m.-6 p.m. each day.

It offers a fun and educational experience for students, highlighting the value of shopping local while showcasing a wide variety of goods and services from community vendors.

The WKU SIAM (Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics) Student Chapter is sponsoring the invited talk on October 22 by Ahmet Aydin, titled "Low-Rank Approximations of High-Dimensional Arrays" . Ahmet is the graduate of Mathematics MS program; he is presently in the PhD program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Please find the flyer attached.
The talk will be via Zoom from 3 pm to 4pm; we will be meeting in COHH 3119 to listen to the talk. Please join us there, or if you can't, join the Zoom meeting.
