'Unite for Fairness' presentation April 8
- WKU Student Government Association
- Thursday, March 28th, 2019

The WKU Student Government Association, in partnership with the WKU Queer Student Union, invites the campus and broader community to participate in an educational event and letter-writing campaign titled “Unite for Fairness” from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. April 8 at Downing Student Union, room 3007.
This event will draw attention to a topic that many in Bowling Green have been focused on for years: LGBTQ Fairness. The event will feature an interactive presentation by QSU that will involve discussion and activities. The presentation will be followed by a letter-writing workshop in which participants will be given guidance on contacting city commissioners in support of a fairness ordinance for the city of Bowling Green. The creation of this event was inspired by the Deliberative Dialogue held by the Center for Citizenship & Social Justice on March 21titled, “LGBTQ+ Fairness vs Religious Liberties.”
Unite for Fairness is open to anyone interested in participating. Pizza will be provided. For information or questions about parking, contact noah.moore786@topper.wku.edu or call (859) 982-8111.
